Together we deliver exceptional experiences to our over 2 million daily customers.General Building Maintenance: To assist the Buildings Supervisor in the day to day operations and maintenance of the facilityCarry out maintenance and/or cleaning tasks that are assigned by the Building Supervisor.Assist the team with completing work-orders submitted through the Angus Anywhere maintenance softwareAssist the team in the operation and inspection of all HVAC, mechanical, electrical, telecommunications, elevating and life safety systems in order to ensure energy efficient performance.Perform repairs and preventative tasks on lights, ballasts, washroom fixtures, etc. and any other equipment so as to ensure they are maintained to a satisfactory health and safety standard.Operate and perform daily inspections of the Building Automation system. This includes modifying set points, schedules, and equipment operation to maximize energy efficiency.Keep all roof areas litter freeReport and replace roof flagsInstallation of signs, posters, decals, and other items as requestedWash and clean areas as requestedKeep truck tunnel clean and safeClean and tidy electrical and mechanical roomsEnsure all parking decks and staircases are cleanOperate power tools, and equipment such as Litter Vac, Sweeper, John Deere tractor and KubotaAssist with relocation or delivery of items for events and/or activities at YorkdaleHealth and Safety Responsibilities and Accountabilities:Bring any noted hazards to the immediate attention of a Manager or SupervisorNotify, as appropriate, all occupants, employees, customers, suppliers, contractors, etc regarding any potential hazardsParticipate, understand and comply with any instruction, training, policies, procedures or information provided to you regarding avoidance of potential hazards and unsafe work procedures. Understand the progressive discipline process can be applied in cases where there are violations of health and safety proceduresCooperate in any accident, illness, injury or near-miss investigations as requested by a Manager or SupervisorBe aware of and comply with any workplace or legislative requirements with regards to job safetyAdequately trained in the safe and effective conduct of respective job and if not, bring this to the immediate attention of a Supervisor or Manager.Work at all times in a healthy and safe mannerAny other role-specific duties pertaining to Health and Safety that are applicable to this position, either currently or in the future that may or may not be detailed aboveAdditional Duties:Ensure that unsafe areas have pylons or barriers placed at all timesNotify Supervisor immediately of any equipment malfunctions or deficienciesMonitor potholes throughout the property and fill when neededAssist Supervisor in other duties as required or requestedSafety Responsibilities:Attend all required health & safety trainingFollow safe work instructions and assists in preventionComplies with H&S regulations and company policiesDoes not operate any equipment without prior trainingUse all required PPE where indicatedOur story:Oxford Properties Group (“Oxfordâ€) is a leading global real estate investor, asset manager and business builder.
