In this role, you will be responsible for technical, building sciences & technology leasing capital & tenant construction reviews & coordination, base building capital and facility maintenance management programs at Yorkdale. The incumbent will be responsible for project management, tenant work and facility management and will oversee a small team of maintenance workers. A strong focus on people management, team development, and tenant relationship management will be important aspects of success in this role. Strong knowledge of administrative tasks such as scheduling and budget control are also essential.You will be a key member of an engaged, high-reaching team—part of a world-class, winning culture that prioritizes people development and focuses on long-term growth. We go above and beyond to protect and grow relationships by anticipating needs, being honest and considerate, and valuing customers as genuine partners.Hours may vary depending on business needs.As a member of this team, you will be responsible for:Landlord Work & CapitalCoordinating access for Lease Outline Drawing / initial survey in-to space(s) to prepare drawings,assisting in confirming existing infrastructure / equipment + coordinate additional services and their respective location /routing & mechanical shafts,reviewing submitted drawings to make suggestions for serviceability and proactive future development of Mechanical / electrical / plumbing.Collecting start up documents, arranging access to key turn over, scheduling with multiple parties, reviewing site rules, and delivering equipmentCommencing project; arranging with all parties for demolition, reviewing demolished space for operational scopeActing as main point of contact for questions, coordination and frequent technical review of installsClosing project; reviewing cleanup, assisting tenant handoverFacility Management:Providing Logs / tasks / work orders for Maintenance team and contractors to completeInterior and Exterior Repairs and maintenanceMisc:Facilitating tenant requests on small renovation scopesCoordinating Access to site (vendors, enbridge, Toronto hydro, survey groups)Assist with leaks within tenant spaces (tenant to tenant & roof to tenant)Repairs & Maintenance and coordination of operations, associated works + memosElectrical , plumbing, site services etc.Assist interdepartmentally with review, coordination, pricing, instalationMarketingSpecialty leasingSecurityHousekeepingIncreasing customer satisfaction by building and maintaining strong relationships with our tenants through timely follow-up on occupant concernsManaging staff within area of responsibility by fostering and maintaining positive labor relations, providing regular feedback and assisting with training needsTo succeed in this role, you have:Post-secondary education in a related field (Building Environment Systems, BES Facility Manager); RPA or FMA designation is preferred. Health and Safety certification is considered an assetFMA Designation or equivalent is preferred3 - 5 years of supervisory experience of operations in a large commercial environment with involvement in assisting in the engagement of consultants, suppliers in energy management projects, retrofits and equipment commissioning. 5+ years of experience with a unionized workforce would be an assetStrong people skills, computer skills and problem solving skills, along with the ability to prioritize tasks and achieve departmental goals under minimal supervision are important for success in this roleWorking knowledge of Angus Preventative Maintenance Software, Siemens Energy Management Software and ITR Payroll System are all assets for this positionVaccination PolicyAt OMERS and Oxford the office or worksite is our primary place of work.
