Job Description

Position Description:Senior ConsultantCGI’s GTA-BKS Business unit is looking for an experienced Technical Support Analyst- Reveille. Reporting to a Director Consulting Services, the candidate will be responsible for leading teams, providing SI& C and support services to our client. This role requires the ability to interface with the client regularly, have excellent communication skills and the ability to lead and provide updates during client impacting incidents..Required qualifications to be successful in this role:Must have:

  • Experience in ANY of the TWO Major Infrastructure changes as an system administrator:
o Oracle 12c to 19c or DB2 10.x to 11.xo WAS 8.x to WAS 9.0o Any LINUX/UNIX major upgrades - Linux 6/7 to Linux 7/8 or AIX 7.1 to 7.2o TSM 7.x to Spectrum Protect 8.xo ECM migrations e.g. Filenet, CMOD
  • Expert knowledge of technical environments and tools (e.g., user environment, applications, software, hardware, programming languages and operating systems)
  • Experience in ANY shell languages.
  • Must have an extensive trouble shooting capabilities by self-analysis along with collaborating multiple technical teams including open services tickets with different product vendors and following instructions.
  • Advanced knowledge of infrastructure, architecture and technology from a design/support/solutions perspective.
  • Primary matter expertise in multiple areas, strength in consulting on all aspects of research, software support, testing.
  • Readiness to work independently in a senior and lead role on a diverse range of tasks effectively in a major migration project from an administrator perspective
  • Dedicated mindset for introducing standards and best practices that ensure data is accurate, complete, current, understandable, and accessible.
  • Fresh, innovative thinking when it comes to building data management capabilities, leverage as a competitive advantage.

  • Apply your deep technology expertise to ensure all TD areas that touch various technologies have the necessary tools, processes and documentation to operate effectively.
  • Execute on TD Technology's engineering strategy as it relates to build, test, release and configure across application, platform and infrastructure.
  • Challenge yourself as an expert, lead innovator in technical migrations
  • Draw on best practices and your knowledge for improvement
  • Work with your team and maintain knowledge and understanding of technical infrastructure components as it relates to their impact within an application perspective.
