Job Description

Job Description*Candidates must reside in the GTA area to be considered for this role as they will be required to be in office 3-days a week.**Candidates must have flexibility around core business schedule (7am-3pm; 8am-4pm; 9am-5pm; 10am-6pm; etc).*General FunctionThe System Administrator provides support and day to day IT operational delivery.This includes hardware and software lifecycle management, server builds, patching and access management. This person provides hands on technical support and troubleshooting for all infrastructure incidents and requests.This role will be required to provide 24/7 emergency support where necessary to ensure timely resolution of high priority incidents.Responsibilities

  • Manage all Servers, server components, server software, and patching.
  • Build complex server environments including load balancing and SQL servers.
  • Install and configure software applications to support Business requirements
  • Management of VDI / Virtual desktop environments.
  • Infrastructure configuration, monitoring and management.
  • Reviews and implements best practices and innovations across windows server landscape.
  • Assists with RCAs for incidents and problems.
  • Develop, document and enforce system standards and procedures
  • CMDB management.
