The Systems Administrator will provide technical assistance on servers, SaaS, network, and cloud-based platforms such as Azure to resolve operational problems. This role is also responsible for assisting with incident tickets related to network and cloud infrastructure.Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure the network is highly available, scalable, protected and cost-effective
  • Work with the Tech Support, Cybersecurity, and Application teams to support and maintain systems and networks
  • Administer SaaS products such as Box, Mimecast, Okta, Office365, Automox
  • Drive continuous improvement that improves scalability, visibility, security, and supportability
  • Ensure IT General Controls and standards are applied to the network
  • Provide knowledge and guidance to various teams and participate in support as an escalation contact developing, designing, deploying, migrating, integrating, and configuring network infrastructure
  • Support and maintain infrastructure monitoring tools, making alerts are proper setup
  • Champion change throughout the global IT Infrastructure and Operation
Experience, Education and Designations:
  • Post-secondary education in IT or equivalent experience
  • Certifications in network (CCNA) or Firewall (PCNSA)
Knowledge, Skills and Attributes:2-3 Years in the following:
  • Network Management (Cisco switches, Palo Alto, Meraki)
  • Basic knowledge of Azure
  • Strong network security management skills (Firewalls, Network Access Control)
  • Knowledge of or relevant experience with Sarbanes-Oxley, General Controls and ITIL
3-5 Years in the following:
  • Experience with retail infrastructure technologies
  • Supporting a corporate, technology-based environment with at least 30 servers and 400 workstations in a multi-site global environment
  • Windows server administration (2012/2016/2019)
  • Administration of SQL server
  • Active Directory administration with extensive group policy experience
  • Office 365 administration
  • Strong network background (VLANs, Routing, IPSEC)
  • Backup maintenance and disaster recovery
  • Strong understanding of high availability design and experience in a high availability environment
  • Experience with administering corporate wired and wireless infrastructure
  • Identity management administration (Single Sign On)
  • Creativity and demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a high degree of change and ambiguity is critical
  • A team player who builds strong relationships based on trust and integrity
  • A continuous learner who embraces ongoing improvement by proposing new and/or better ways of doing things
  • Passionate and determined with an entrepreneurial spirit
Working Conditions:
  • Usually, work regular business hours but may require evenings and weekends to complete projects, monitor system/network alerts or maintenance on systems
  • Working in offices, and manufacturing facilities, environmentally controlled server rooms
  • May require travel to local or international sites, conferences and/or seminars
  • Lifting items up to 22 pounds may be routinely required
