Once ministry staff are required to return to the office, the resource under this request will be required to work onsite as well.Rate: No rate range provided by client – as per market ratesCandidate has to provide his/her laptop during Interview/contract duration if needed.Must haves:Experience in designing, implementing, and maintaining large-scale data pipelines and ETL workflows either from university projects, internship or work experience.Experience in data warehousing and large-scale computingExperience working with stream processing solutionsExperience with data warehousing toolsExperience working on large scale IT projects that are Radio and/or network infrastructure related is desiredThe role will carry out:Own the strategy, implementation and management of civil infrastructure data.Support the modeling team with streaming and batch ETL pipelines to extract, transform, and load data from various diverse data sources.Create tools and automation against current directories to support our operations team.Design a framework for ensuring data quality and governance that will support the steady state needs of the department into the future.Help troubleshoot complex data issues and recommend solutions.Build and manage a strong data strategy focused on delivering accurate information across the civil stream lifecycle - design, build, test, release, and operateBuild alignment with cross stream asset leads to ensure deliverables meet their expectations.Establish and maintain QA Inspection and Testing Procedures for civil infrastructure deployment in adherence to the deployment, operations and maintenance contractPerform, review audits and report discrepancies of adequacy, compliance, and efficiency.Review and analyze various reports from the vendor of record to determine acceptabilityAssist the Project Manager in analyzing and processing submitted data to develop and operationalize Key Performance Indicator (KPI) reports.Ensure that all deliverable requirements to the GMCB are met in an accurate and timely manner.Oversee the implementation of testing procedures and ensure the efficiency of inspectionsEnsure compliance with applicable industry standards, and GMCB policies, procedures and regulations.Work closely with the operations team to develop and complete handover tasks to ensure a smooth transitionDevelop, implement and maintain DARP (Deliverable Acceptance Review Process) for the civil infrastructure stream.Perform Quality and Operational field audits for substantial completion to assess and monitor deployment and derive corrective actions as required.Performs investigation, disposition and closure of non-conformance reportsThis role is required to be cleared through the Contractor Security Clearance Process of the OPS at an OPP level 4 clearance level.Security Clearance process, levels, roles etc. are subject to change without prior notice.
