As we continue to expand, we are seeking a talented and driven Talent Acquisition Specialist to join our Human Resources team.Parallelz’ founding team and advisors are serial entrepreneurs and technologists from Google, Mozilla, Microsoft, MIT Media Labs, NVIDIA, and other top organizations. The company is joined by top tier and global venture funds and angel investors.This role will also be supporting a sister company, a web games company.Job Summary:The Talent Acquisition Specialist will be responsible for identifying and attracting top talent to Parallelz. In this role, you will develop and execute recruiting strategies, manage the full-cycle recruitment process, and ensure a positive candidate experience. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in talent acquisition, excellent communication skills, and a passion for connecting people with opportunities.This would be a full-time 3-month contract role with potential to convert to a full-time employee. Compensation will be split 80% base cash compensation and 20% on-target bonus.Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with hiring managers to understand job requirements and develop effective recruitment strategies.
  • Manage the full-cycle recruitment process, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and extending offers.
  • Utilize various recruitment tools and platforms to identify and engage with passive and active candidates.
  • Develop and maintain a strong network of industry contacts and talent pipelines.
  • Ensure a positive candidate experience by providing timely updates, feedback, and assistance throughout the recruitment process.
  • Track and analyze recruitment metrics to identify areas of improvement and measure the effectiveness of recruitment efforts.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, best practices, and legal compliance related to talent acquisition.
  • Participate in job fairs, networking events, and other recruitment activities to promote Parallelz as an employer of choice.
RequirementsQualifications:
  • Bachelor #39;s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 2+ years of experience in software (gaming preferred) talent acquisition
  • Proven success in managing full-cycle recruitment processes.
  • Strong knowledge of various recruitment tools, platforms, and best practices.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Strong organizational and time-management abilities, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
  • Knowledge of employment laws and regulations related to talent acquisition.
