Gameloft is a Vivendi company.All trademarks referenced above are owned by their respective trademark owners.Job DescriptionAs Technical Artist at Gameloft Toronto, you’ll be working with some of the best talents in the world from hit games and franchises including LEGO Legacy: Heroes Unboxed, Disney Magic Kingdoms and Uno and Friends, which were created in this studio.Responsibilities:From the beginning of your journey with us you will:

  • Be a bridge between artists and programmers.
  • Work closely with the team leads, producers, and studio directors.
  • Act as a technical advisor; inform teams of foreseeable issues and technical limitations.
  • Research and prototype cutting-edge tools and rendering techniques.
  • Find creative solutions to realize artistic visions within the technical limits of the target platforms.
  • Create shaders and effects to enhance the visuals of the game.
  • Design, build, and maintain art content pipelines.
  • Develop scripts and tools for artists to optimize their workflow.
  • Mentor artists in the chosen methods and tools of production.
  • Work on a wide range of games, with a variety of technologies and game engines.
QualificationsProfile:
  • Understanding and experience of mobile device limitations and challenges.
  • Expertise in 3D graphics and excellent knowledge of the 3D production pipeline.
  • Proficiency in 3DSMax and Photoshop.
  • Experience working with Unity game engine.
  • Experience with Houdini.
  • Proficient with the following: MaxScript, Python, C#, GLSL/HLSL.
  • Strong sense of technical and artistic aspects.
