Egos need not apply.WHO YOU AREYou will work closely with our newest client who is a large North American Automotive client as well as our robust tech team to identify the clients technical needs, define solutions and maximize opportunities.You will also support our technical team through various stages of the development lifecycle. Although you have the full support of your team mates, you are able to lead the research and solution of complex problems. At the same time, you know when to ask for help and don’t let silly pride or ego get in the way, because after all, you are part of a team.“Initiative” is your middle name and you don’t give us a chance to chase you. We are on the hunt for people who have an innovative mindset (you still dream of that moonshot project, but are currently working on your side-gig)! Is this youA typical week will involve:Defining and documenting the clients business functions and processes while keeping an eye out for any process improvement opportunitiesConducting independent and strategic research on the solutions to be developed, and the users they are being developed forLiaising between our internal team and client to ensure we are interpreting the needs into functional solutionsWriting business requirement documents to define the technical solution to a user’s problemContinuous analysis of the feasibility and efficacy of the developing systemsDocumenting changes for functional and business specifications – You should be able to write a document that can be universally understood by all involved partiesGathering and sharing relevant information and reports using analytics, industry/competitive research and trends.Participating in test case definition and user acceptance testingEXPERIENCEMust have:2-3 yrs in a Technical Business Analyst role or similarExpert level knowledge of SDLCKeen eye for detail with exceptional communication skillsUnderstanding of front end design principles (Web, Mobile)Previous experience with server-side frameworks and languagesPassionate about understanding complex problems and driving innovative solutionsAdvanced knowledge of project management and agile methodologiesWorking knowledge in the use of JIRA / ConfluenceNice to have:Experience in the automotive industryAbility to codeBIMM is committed to providing an environment that is inclusive and accessible.
