Job Description

Our team is at the forefront of developing Bell’s leading products and services: Fibe TV and Internet, Wireless, Smart Home, cloud, security and IoT. We enable the delivery of the best content from Crave, TSN/RDS, iHeart Radio and dozens of other leading media properties to our customers any time, on any device.We manage the physical and logical network inventory of Bell’s core and access network. We are continuously adding more capability, modernizing the ecosystem to allow for consolidation and automation.Key Responsibilities

  • Develop conceptual solution, documentation and guide the project from concept to delivery
  • Provide technical leadership, coordination and communication inside a development team and other stakeholders.
  • Actively participate in the design and the implementation phases (including design reviews and code reviews)
Critical Qualifications
  • Strong leadership skill to lead and direct a team of senior and junior developers.
  • Minimum 3 years in the role of Team Lead or Senior Full Stack developer
  • Hands on experience designing and building modern user interfaces, mid-tier, data persistence and query layer.
  • Managed operations of one or more production applications, delivered new features and troubleshoot failures.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Extensive knowledge of wireline/fibre and IP network
  • Experience building or customizing multi-tiered applications
  • Experience decomposing development work and delegating to members of the team. Provide code review, peer feedback and champion best development practices.
  • Strong knowledge of JavaScript, Java and Oracle-PL/SQL, Linux and hands on experience using Docker, GCP and/or AWS
  • Strong verbal communication and technical writing skills (ability to write clearly and concisely)
  • Bachelor or Master of Electrical/Computer Science/Telecom Engineering
