You will be joining Sopra Steria #39;s Cybersecurity division (I2S), in our Toronto office, reporting to the Managing Director. As a Technical Recruiter, you will play a crucial role in identifying, engaging, and securing talented professionals who will contribute to our company #39;s growth and success. You will work closely with hiring managers to understand our staffing needs and lead the recruitment process.Sopra Steria Infrastructureamp; Security Services (I2S) is a subsidiary of Sopra Steria dedicated to infrastructure, cloud, and cybersecurity activities. It plays a key role in Sopra Steria #39;s end-to-end services. With 3,000 employees, Sopra Steria I2S stands out for the flexibility of its delivery model, combining client proximity from our 8 agencies with the advanced industrial capabilities of our offshore service centers.Responsibilities

  • Proactively source candidates through various channels, including job boards, social media, professional networks, and referrals
  • Build and maintain a network of qualified candidates for current and future hiring needs
  • Review resumes and applications, conduct initial phone screens, and assess candidates #39; qualifications, experience, and cultural fit
  • Schedule, coordinate and facilitate interviews with candidates and/or hiring managers to ensure a seamless process
  • Promote the company #39;s culture, values, and career opportunities to attract top talent
  • Use data and analytics to evaluate and improve the effectiveness of recruitment strategies and provide regular reports on hiring progress
Requirements
  • Bachelor #39;s degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field
  • Proven 5+ years of experience as a Technical Recruiter, preferably in IT consulting and cybersecurity
  • Knowledge of IT and cybersecurity roles, skills, and technologies
  • Strong understanding of the recruitment process and best practices
  • Ability to evaluate candidates for both technical and cultural fit
  • Experience with applicant tracking systems (ATS) and sourcing tools
  • HR certification (e.g., PHR, SPHR) is a plus
  • Organized with a proven ability to prioritize workload, meet deadlines, and utilize time effectively in a challenging environment to drumbeat the activity
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, negotiation, and listening skills
  • Previous work in a multicultural environment
  • English required / French is a plus
