The candidate will lead a group of sales engineers, pursuing new infrastructure projects, as well as ensuring timely execution and 100 % customer satisfaction.If you are an individual that is never satisfied with the status quo and seeks to join a leader in the industry with over 50 years of experience, then we invite you to explore and apply.ResponsibilitiesAs an Sales Manager, you are in the lead of generating sales within the Canadian market with the following priorities and objectives:Technical and commercial sales in the field of structural bearings and expansion joints including all operational, commercial and technical aspects (from lead management, technical consulting to actual bidding/tendering)Tracking of offers and orders, maintaining partnerships (authorities such as DOTs, construction companies, engineering offices, other partners)Contract management including negotiation and claim managementStructured hand-over of acquired projects to the project management team and monitoring the project manager to ensure qualitative, economic and timely aspects and requirements including the corresponding reporting are metOperational planning and budgeting of projects together with the project managersInterface for internal and external customers and all other involved stakeholders incl. planning of market activities (customer visits, standards committees, interest groups, etc.)Consultancy of our customers with the willingness to a travel activity of approx. 10 to 20 % within CanadaQualificationsFor this diversified, challenging and exciting job opening, we are looking for an engineer (m/ f) who brings along the following qualifications:An engineering degree, BSc or MSc, preferably in Civil EngineeringProven track record in technical sales and possibly project managementAbility to understand our product line and to become a technical expert in our fieldMinimum 5-10 years of work experienceIndependent work style, high sense of responsibility and a focus on high qualityTeam player with the necessary degree of assertivenessReliability, commercial sense, efficiency, organizational skills, and ambition are among your key attributesOur commitmentWe offer a challenging work environment where your duties will have a direct impact on the overall business success.
