Our values of quality, innovation and relationships enables us to provide exceptional service and lie at the heart of everything we do.Position: TechnicianLocation: Pilot Coffee Roasters, Toronto, ONSalary Range: $48,000 to $50,000 per annumWe are currently looking for a Technician to join our amazing technical services team at Pilot. Working closely with the Manager of CSR, Wholesale, and Technical Services, you’ll have the opportunity to work with our Cafe locations and wholesale partners to support their business needs. Do you have experience troubleshooting issues on espresso machines, grinders, RO systems and other coffee equipment Are you curious about how things work Do you have a knack for customer service and problem solving If you do, we’d love to hear from you!GENERAL DUTIES + RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Offer set-up and maintenance support to our wholesale partners and Pilot cafes on equipment including, espresso machines, grinders, and brewers
  • Assist Pilot cafes with miscellaneous repairs and when needed coordinate outside trades or technicians
  • Ensure that Pilot’s tools and spare parts are adequately equipped to carry out required services
  • Schedule and carry-out an equipment preventative maintenance program for our customers
  • Create quotes and invoice for work completed
  • When required, perform service call-outs on evening and weekends
  • Be willing to travel to wholesale partners who are located across Canada
QUALIFICATIONS + REQUIREMENTS
  • A valid G class driver’s license with a clean driving record
  • Barista experience or experience working on espresso machines in some capacity would be an asset
  • Work evenings and weekends are required by business
