Job Description

Job Summary:The Junior Architectural Technologist will work under the guidance of senior staff and will be involved in various aspects of architectural design and project development.The job position requires a solid educational background in architectural technology and a passion for contributing to a wide range of projects. Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the preparation of architectural drawings and renderings using AutoCAD, Revit, and other design software
  • Collaborate with the design team to develop design concepts and solutions
  • Conduct research on building materials, codes, and regulations
  • Assist in the preparation of construction documents and specifications
  • Participate in project meetings and contribute ideas to the design process
  • Assist with site visits and inspections to ensure project compliance
  • Assist in the coordination of project deliverables and timelines
  • Assist with project documentation and management
  • Collaborate with various project team members, including architects, engineers, and contractors
Qualifications:
  • Diploma or degree in Architectural Technology or related field
  • 1-2 years of relevant work experience (internships or co-op experiences included)
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit software
  • Knowledge of other design software such as SketchUp and Adobe Creative Suite is a plus
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in work
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team and under supervision
  • Eagerness to learn and develop new skills
  • Basic understanding of building codes and construction methods
