We are looking for caring and enthusiastic individuals to join our team andbecome part of a progressive non-profit organization.*RESPONSIBILITIES*Respond to client concerns, issues or requests and follow-up and monitor asnecessaryPrepare and print daily route and order sheets for meal providersLiaise with meal providersAssist with the scheduling of volunteersSchedule, direct and support volunteers or peer workersData entry including updating client files in databaseProvide support with the delivery of meals when necessaryProvide support with shopping and food preparation for Housing DepartmentProjects as determined by supervisor or managerThe main responsibility of this position is to learn and assist with all aspects of thedaily running of the Meals on Wheels Program and Community Food Programs inthe Housing Department.*QUALIFICATIONS*Strong interpersonal, organizational and communication skillsKnowledge and understanding of working with seniors and adults with a disabilityor illnessAble to multi-task in a fast-paced environmentAbility to accept supervision and seek counselKnowledge of computer programs (Word) is an assetDependable, punctual and flexibleSecond language an assetMUST be qualified to work in Canada legally for the EmployerAble to provide a “Clear” or satisfactory Vulnerable Sector Police Check asdetermined by the operational requirements of the program.To apply, please email your resume and cover letter as a single Word or pdf document tohr@dixonhall.org by* May 25th, 2022 at 4:30pm quoting File #22-SRS-13 *in the email“Subject” line.Dixon Hall Neighbourhood Services is committed to developing an inclusive selectionprocess and work environment.
