Job Description

The Toronto Cider Festival is THE event that caps off the summer and brings one of the final summer weekends to a memorable close. Bringing the festival of this size to life would not be possible without the support of a dedicated team of volunteers, contributing towards making it a huge success.We are looking for experienced and enthusiastic volunteers to be part of our Event Day Production and Execution Team, who would like to gain experience in the world of events and hospitality and be exposed to the opportunity to network amongst established hospitality professionals.There will be a variety of opportunities available between the dates of Thursday, August 25th, 2022 until Sunday, August 28th, 2022 across all areas of the event.Please note this is a 19+ event!Volunteer Requirements:

  • Preferred availability for at least TWO shifts across FOUR days (Aug 25 - 28th)
  • Preferred at least one setup and/or teardown shifts + one event session(s)
  • Available for an in-person training session prior to the event
As a volunteer, you will receive:
  • A 2022 Limited Edition Toronto Cider Festival t-shirt
  • The opportunity to attend 1 session of the Toronto Cider Festival for free
  • Additional 2 free guest passes for friends and family to attend
  • Hands on industry experience in the fields of events and hospitality
  • Letter of recognition from the Toronto Cider Festival

Taking place on Friday, August 26th & Saturday, August 27th, the festival will be located at Toronto Inukshuk Park by the downtown waterfront and presents a nautical theme to honour its new waterfront location.While cider is at the heart of the show, the Toronto Cider Festival is about so much more, presenting 3 unique sessions and 2 VIP experiences, each with its own vibe
  • Friday August 26: 90s Night*
  • Saturday August 27: Waterfront Day Drinking*
  • Saturday August 27: Dance Party*
