Company DescriptionToronto FC is the first Canadian professional soccer club based in Toronto to compete in Major League Soccer (MLS), beginning play in 2007. The club is owned and operated by Maple Leaf Sports & Entertainment and plays its home matches at BMO Field at Exhibition Place. In 2017, Toronto FC captured the first domestic treble in MLS history when the club won the MLS Cup, the Supporters Shield and the Voyageurs Cup (Canadian Championship). Toronto FC became the first team in MLS history to win three domestic trophies in the same season. They are eight-time winners of the Canadian Championship competition (2009, 2010, 2011, 2012, 2016, 2017, 2018 and 2020).
