Canaccord Genuity, the international capital markets division, operates in North America, UK & Europe, Asia, Australia and the Middle East.Our Canadian operation, Canaccord Genuity Corp., is currently looking for an Intermediate to Senior Trade Reconciliations Administrator. This position requires the ability to work independently in a high-volume, and pressured environment. Inherent system deadlines require the successful candidate to possess very strong organizational and prioritization skills. Additionally, the ability to balance these significant challenges and interact effectively with others is essential. As this position is directly related to servicing the Trading Desks an early morning start time of 7:00 AM EST is required. In addition, the incumbent may be required to work Canadian Statutory Holidays when the US Markets are open. This is a full time, 4 months contract role.Responsibilities:Reconcile and balance Custody & Broker Accounts;Respond to queries of minimal to moderate complexity;Process Trade Cancel and Amendments;Trade Input;Evaluate and resolve matters that fall beyond existing practice standards and procedures;Liaise with Exchanges, Service Bureaus & Counterparties;Communicate with Trader’s, IA’s (or Assistants) and support staff in a timely and professional manner;Update statistics;Perform additional duties as assigned.Skills & Qualifications:3 – 5 years of related industry experience;Detail oriented, with superior analytical and problem solving skills;Strong organizational and multi-tasking skills;Excellent verbal and written communication skills;Strong data entry skills, accuracy and efficiency is required;Proficiency with MS Word, Excel (Macros) and Outlook;Ability to work both independently and in a team environment;Ability to be self-motivated and work effectively under pressure;Working knowledge of Trading Blotters, Clearing and Reconciliation Reports an asset;Knowledge of Dataphile system, CDS and DTC an asset;Knowledge of Derivatives clearing an asset.Canaccord Genuity Corp. welcomes and encourages applications from all qualified individuals including persons with disabilities.
