Come be a part of the team.Job DescriptionAs a valuable member of the Event Personnel team, you will be responsible for the delivery of winning fan service to fans during a variety of events.

  • Act as an ambassador for Maple Leaf Sports & Entertainment and our community.
  • Provide friendly and informed response to customer inquiries
  • Greet fans in a welcoming and friendly manner.
  • Inform fans of seat locations and provide assistance where needed.
  • Direct fans with special needs / requests to Fan Service.
  • Operate elevator as required.
  • Adhere to all MLSE service standards and policies including proper use/care of workplace technology, and Health & Safety requirements including utilizing proper PPE while on shift
  • Work in compliance with the provisions of the Occupational Health & Safety Act.
  • Adhere to all MLSE service standards and policies while using department technology while on shift.
Qualifications
  • Must be flexible to work shifts weekdays as early as 4:30pm, and weekends and holidays during the day and evening
  • Available to work evenings, weekends and holidays as required
  • 12 month a year availability
  • Available for all events at BMO Field and Scotiabank Arena. Option to work at Coca Cola Coliseum. Must be able to work both indoors and outdoors as well as in cold environments
  • Previous ushering experience an asset
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; team focused
  • Work with enthusiasm and professionalism at all times
  • Able to pay close attention to detail
  • Critical decision making when dealing with ticket issues and customer concerns or emergency situations
  • Able to hold and use communication device weighing no more than 32 ounces for duration of shift
  • Able to work in a noisy, dynamic and busy environment
  • Must be able to stand for duration of shift (typically 4-6 hrs)
  • Must be able to walk and climb stairs in the venue
  • Familiarity with the City of Toronto and tourist attractions an asset
  • Willingness to learn and apply basic technology on smartphones and social media that help elevate our team and fans experience as well as engage in Workplace which is MLSE’s internal communication platform
