Key to our success will be a leader with visionary capabilities across the domains of customer experience, digital, data, and technology who can help us shape our future state digital vision.Reporting to the Executive Vice President & Chief Medical Executive, the Vice President Digital Health and Chief Information Officer (CIO) has critical responsibilities in two primary environments: the internal hospital environment, supporting clinical and business processes; and the external healthcare systems environment, including integration across our North Toronto Ontario Health Team and with regional and provincial digital systems. The ultimate goal is the creation of an integrated care delivery system across the continuum of care, enabled by technology.The Vice President, Digital Health & CIO will have responsibility for the inspirational leadership and management of a full IM/IT/Digital team with oversight of an approximately $25 million operational budget, business continuity planning and business recovery, maintaining essential services, scheduling, and portfolio-wide quality assurance and risk management.The Vice President, Digital Health & CIO will bring a minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in a senior level information technology position, ideally in a healthcare environment. Possessing excellent interpersonal and communication skills, the preferred candidate will have established credibility as a visionary leader with the skill necessary to shape the strategic direction based on the vision, mission and values of Sunnybrook. A Master’s Degree in Business Administration, Health Sciences, MIS or equivalent and evidence of ongoing professional development is preferred.Quick Apply
