Job Description

As Vice President of Growth, you will bring a growth mindset to help scale Thrillworks. Through business development and marketing practices, create strategic plans to improve revenue and evolve the business. You will be accountable for Thrillworks brand position in the marketplace and increasing overall brand equity through an increase in awareness and engagement. You will be accountable for building a strong pipeline of qualified prospects, bringing in new clients, and incubating/growing existing clients into anchor tenants.Growth-Specific Responsibilities

  • In close collaboration with the President and leadership team, core focus will be to drive the strategic and sustainable growth of Thrillworks
  • Create and set the overall sales strategy for the agency, with growth plans for existing clients, proactive/reactive tactics to gain net new clients
  • Create a scalable growth team structure to support our efforts; nurturing and developing the team to better support our revenue goals while maintaining profitability
  • Identify and set sales and marketing goals and benchmarks for the agency, while prioritizing the highest value activities to achieve our goals. Ensure direct reports’ goals are being met and delivered upon.
  • As a member of the functional leadership team, you play a critical role in helping to drive the future success of Thrillworks - both within and outside of your core focus area
  • Reporting into the President to deliver updates on all growth initiatives, current account status and new growth plans, marketing and communication efforts and overall results
  • Be seen as a strategic, trusted advisor to Thrillworks’ internal and external stakeholders- particularly with external decisions makers - by gaining a deep understanding of our clients’ business, needs and challenges, artfully positioning Thrillworks’ offerings / partnership as critical for their personal and organizational success
  • Develop and execute on short- and long-term strategic initiatives to drive growth, which may include marketing, sales, partnerships and innovation or product development (if appropriate/applicable)
  • Refine/develop core metrics (leading indicators and KPIs) to track our progress against our growth goals and utilize data to inform decision making on future focus and investments
  • Optimize the sales and marketing funnel, processes and tools to ensure we are effectively generating and managing leads and translating these into opportunities
  • Improve new business win ratios by ensuring opportunities are carefully and strategically managed with high quality and compelling pitches/proposals/responses
  • Help leadership create a culture of growth at Thrillworks by leading training and awareness of a growth mindset across the organization.
  • Represent Thrillworks in new business pursuits and external industry events as appropriate.
Marketing-Specific Responsibilities
  • Create and set the overall marketing and lead generation strategy for Thrillworks that will build our brand equity/awareness and increase qualified leads over time.
  • Oversees implementation of company wide marketing activities and communications plans; including but not limited to thought leadership, social media, corporate image, website, SEO campaigns, etc. while working collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders and vendor partners to manage projects
  • Develop strategies for growing inbound leads by attracting and converting targeted website traffic through digital channels (calls-to-action, landing pages, paid/organic strategy, etc.)
  • Responsible for brand management and corporate identity – with oversight of all brand promotional material, using Thrillworks templates and brand guidelines
  • Growth-specific event planning, execution and management e.g., conferences & client events
  • Responsible for creative, digital, analytical, and financial aspects of the marketing department/team at Thrillworks and provide leadership with regular KPI dashboards and reports.
