Come be a part of the team.Job DescriptionAs a valuable member of the Food & Beverage Warehouse team, you will oversee and lead the overnight warehouse team at Scotiabank Arena, ensuring the delivery of winning fan service to all guests. Your leadership, passion and commitment to teamwork will contribute to inspiring others, ensuring our vision that is integral to our business.

  • Lead the Food and Beverage Warehouse team at Scotiabank Arena with the assistance of the Part-Time Supervisor team.
  • Provide leadership and direction by managing standards of quality, service, and safety for the Food and Beverage department.
  • Supervise, train, develop and empower the Warehouse team.
  • Oversee accuracy and efficiency of inventory and orders using Inventory System.
  • Oversee the distribution of product overnight, pre-event
  • Ensures timely and friendly service to internal customers with a “do what it takes” approach.
  • Resolve discrepancies quickly and effectively.
  • Oversee the administrative functions pertaining to hiring, scheduling, payroll, performance reviews, coaching, counseling and discipline, posting of invoices, transfers and inventories.
  • Ensure compliance with all related regulations such as those pertaining to Health & Safety and AGCO.
  • Adhere to MLSE service standards and policies.
  • Lead by example in team management and development, using a “one team” approach; ensure departmental professionalism and winning vision are intact.

  • Previous Management experience in unionized and/or warehouse environment is preferred
  • Must be available to work evenings, weekends and holidays
  • Work in compliance with the provisions of the Occupational Health & Safety Act Trained in W.H.M.I.S.
  • Intermediate to advanced skills using Excel, Word and Inventory Control Software
  • Ability to communicate, motivate and lead effectively
  • A proactive approach toward day-to-day activities and shifting demands
  • An ongoing awareness and responsiveness to client satisfaction
  • Must be able to stand and walk for a prolonged period of time during a shift
  • Must be able to work in various work conditions, dealing with heat or cold, indoors and outdoors
