The team works together to fulfill orders on behalf of its clients in an effort to help these clients expand and grow their business. You will be responsible for various tasks throughout the day and presented with new challenges often. As a warehouse associate you will be communicating with department leads to ensure the work is being performed well. Everyday is something new!Job Responsibilities/Description: - Entry level fulfillment associate position- Labour-intensive - you will never stand still in one spot!- Picking and packing orders - maintaining a consistent speed of 90+ items picked/hour with no error and a packing speed of 40+ orders per hour.- Efficiently sorting, counting and homing inventory in the correct location, based on the correct sku and quantity.- Receiving and dispatching shipments. Helping bring out items for pickups and unload inbound shipments from dock, deliver manifests/BOLs to pick up drivers.- Kitting existing inventory into packs to be fulfilled with.- Complete daily assignments in a timely manner, before they are due (replenishment duties, counts, homing inventory, fulfillment requests etc.)- Complete end of shift clean up (tossing empty boxes in baler, taking out the trash, cleaning workstation, returning items to its designated spots)Requirements/Qualifications: - Must be organized and self-motivated, but also able to work well in a team. Communication is key!- Able to problem solve and have an acute attention to detail.- 1-2 years experience working in retail or fulfillment centres preferred but not required.- Ability to operate a Raymond forklift is an asset.
