• Develop and oversee the company #39;s legal strategy to protect its interests and support its business objectives.
• Provide expert legal advice on corporate governance, compliance, and risk management.
• Lead the development and implementation of governance policies and procedures.
• Oversee legal matters and manage relationships with external legal counsel.
• Monitor and ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and internal policies.
• Collaborate with various business units to integrate legal considerations into business decisions.

Requirements

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
• Active membership in good standing with the relevant bar association.
• Minimum of 10 years of legal experience, with significant exposure to corporate governance and compliance.
• Proven track record in managing legal teams and complex legal issues.
• Outstanding leadership and interpersonal skills.
• Strong analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
• Experience in a regulated industry is preferred.
