Job Description

Role SummaryThe Demand Planneramp; Inventory Manager is responsible for demand forecasting and planning. Designing S amp;OP processes and building bridges among the sales, product and purchasing teams.Role Responsibilities

  • Review historical sales trends, research demand drivers and develop effective forecasting models
  • Continuously evaluate forecast results, ensuring models are reflective of industry trends and company demand patterns
  • Lead and execute the S amp;OP process with the sales and marketing teams and other key stakeholders
  • Utilize Netsuite and Salesforce to streamline the planning process
  • Perform risk assessments to maintain inventory and implement solutions to improve demand forecast accuracy
  • Provide input to the Supply Planning team in developing inventory strategies on existing items, new products, and product phase-outs
  • Document daily deliveries and shipments to ensure that inventory is maintained, current and up-to-date
  • Prepare detailed reports on inventory operations, forecast, inventory purchasing, stock levels, and adjustments
  • Coordinate and fulfill demand requirements with the sales team, ensuring supply is available by monitoring and tracking orders
  • Maintain a constant relationship with the sales, marketing, finance, and supply chain teams to understand the demand forecasting drivers
  • Other duties, as assigned
RequirementsQualifications Formal Education or Equivalent
  • University degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
Years of Experience
  • Minimum of five (5) years of experience in demand planning and/or supply network planning

Specialized skills, knowledge, or certifications unique to this role
  • Experience utilizing ERP systems, knowledge ofSalesForce and NetSuite
  • Expert at utilizing statistical forecasting software
  • Proven track record of inventory planning, strategy design, and hands-on operational experience
  • Strong spreadsheet, database, PowerPoint, and BI Reporting system skills
