Job Description

The Finance Manager will work closely within the Global Finance team and Clara Operations team to ensure the forecast accuracy for the growing Clara Stage business.They will ensure accurate reporting of the financial elements so Management can make key decisions to foster growth and profitability at PXO.Responsibilities

  • Work closely with FP amp;A and Operations team to update the quarterly forecast and annual budget for Sony consolidation
  • Prepare monthly Financial pack for formal review with Head of Clara, CFO, CEO and senior management
  • Provide P amp;L variance explanations monthly between Actuals vs. Fcst vs. Budget
  • Work closely with Accounting and Operations to streamline CAPEX reporting related to Clara operations
  • Prepare Studio P amp;L for Clara operating companies and consolidate forecast to be presented to management
  • Prepare payroll and time log reconciliation, bi-weekly for review and distribute to producers
  • Month end labour accruals and reconciliation
  • Month end revenue recognition, review of accrued/deferred revenue and commentary with Group finance
  • Support in weekly project reporting by updating EFC’s with actual costs
  • Involved in year-end close and budgeting
  • Perform cost analysis of bids and projects using SAP and excel with Production
  • Create projects in SAP as needed following approval process
  • Monthly PO review with Production and Group Finance
  • Reconciliation of project reports to SAP while working with Production
  • Ad-hoc reporting, tasks and projects as required
Requirements
    • Business/accounting/financial degree or equivalent qualification
    • 3-4 years relevant work experience
    • Experience in live events/ supply chain management a plus.
    • Strong aptitude for business software applications and proficiency in using Microsoft Office applications.
    • Excellent communicator, written and verbal.
    • SAP knowledge desirable but not essential
    • Natural inclination to problem solve and analyze financial information
    • Ability to work effectively under pressure with a strong sense of urgency to meet deadlines
    • Motivated by a challenge/problem and with an ability to problem solve.
    • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced ever-changing environment.
    • Ability to focus on completion of tasks in a timely manner to meet deadlines.
    • Inquisitive and proactive approach to work
    Additional Requirements:
    • Must live in and be eligible to work in either UK, Germany or Canada (Quebec, BC, Ontario)
