Job Description

Company Overview: Vayle has quickly emerged as the leading provider of Freedom of Information (FOI) software, serving municipalities, provincial governments, and federal entities across Canada. As we expand our product suite to become a full-service information access and privacy compliance platform, we are looking for a dynamic and motivated individual to join our team as an Inside Sales Representative. This is a ground-floor opportunity to work directly with the Founder and CEO, playing a pivotal role in growing our customer base and shaping the future of the company.Role Overview: We are seeking an ambitious and energetic Inside Sales Representative to engage with municipal, provincial, and federal agencies, introducing them to Vayle’s FOI and privacy solutions. This role is ideal for a recent university graduate who is eager to develop a career in technology sales while working in a fast-growing company that is transforming how governments manage information access and privacy compliance.This is a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience, work closely with company leadership, and contribute to the expansion of an innovative software platform.Key Responsibilities:

  • Proactively reach out to public sector organizations, including municipalities, provincial ministries, and federal agencies, to introduce them to Vayle’s FOI and privacy solutions.
  • Conduct outbound calls, emails, and LinkedIn outreach to generate and qualify leads.
  • Schedule and conduct product demos, articulating the value of our platform and how it improves workflow automation and compliance for government entities.
  • Support the sales pipeline by tracking activities in the company’s CRM, ensuring all interactions and opportunities are documented.
  • Collaborate with the Founder and CEO to refine outreach strategies, sales tactics, and messaging to enhance engagement with potential customers.
  • Work closely with marketing to follow up on inbound leads and campaign responses.
  • Research and identify new sales opportunities, including partnerships with industry groups and associations that support government agencies.
  • Assist in the preparation of proposals and responses to government procurement opportunities.

  • Qualificationsamp; Skills:
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, communications, political science, public administration, or a related field.
  • Strong interest in technology sales and business development, with a desire to build a career in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
  • Excellent communication skills—both verbal and written—with the ability to present ideas clearly and persuasively.
  • Highly organized with attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • A self-starter with a strong work ethic, able to work independently while collaborating with the team.
  • Comfortable making outbound calls and engaging in proactive prospecting efforts.
  • Interest in information access, privacy, and compliance is a plus.
  • Previous sales or customer service experience (internships, part-time, or full-time) is an asset but not required.
