Job Description

Plant Care SpecialistAmbius Canada Corporation is about improving the quality of life for people working in offices, hotels and shopping centres by enriching their environment. Plant Care and Maintenance:

  • Perform regular maintenance of exterior plants including watering, fertilizing, pruning, and pest control.
  • Inspect plants for signs of disease or pests and take appropriate action.
  • Ensure all plants are properly trimmed and maintained to enhance their health and aesthetic appeal.2. Installation and Landscaping:
  • Assist in the planning and installation of new plantings and landscaping projects.
  • Prepare soil and planting beds, including the removal of weeds and debris.
  • Plant new flowers, shrubs, trees, and other greenery as required.3. Client Interaction:
  • Communicate with clients to understand their needs and preferences.
  • Provide clients with plant care advice and recommendations.
  • Address any client concerns or issues promptly and professionally.
Requirements
  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • 1 to 2 years of customer facing and/or route based experience
  • 1 to 2 years expereince working in horticulture and/or landscaping
  • Must pass a pre-employment background screen
  • Ability to work independently throughout daily task after training
  • Attention to detail
  • Solid communication and critical problem solving skills.
  • Able to safely climb ladders and work on ladders
  • Experience using pruners, scissors, and other sharp objectsl
