Job Description

Role SummaryThe Project Manager will be responsible for delivering on Product Distro Innovation projects and supporting the THC Productamp; Innovation Owner with initiatives that will help deliver revenue-producing opportunities to the sales team. Role Responsibilities

  • Managing Distro Product Innovation projects from inception until launch
  • Working closely with Salesamp; Product teams to identify product opportunities and help bring them to life
  • Provide support for customer engagements and product requests
  • Develop comprehensive project plans, including defining project scope, objectives, timelines, project costs, and resource requirements
  • Collaborate with stakeholders, such as product development teams, product managers, marketing, and regulatory compliance, to ensure alignment with business goals
  • Coordination of project deliverables with internal and external stakeholders to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget
  • Manage key relationships with external manufacturing partners, and internal teams
  • Monitor project progress and support issues as they arise
  • Manage product BOM, certifications, and development costs
  • Oversee incoming and outgoing key product documents, certifications, etc.
  • Provide support for product compliance and regulatory items
  • Provide support for testingamp; inventory operations
  • Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to address them. This may include regulatory compliance risks, supply chain disruptions, or changes in consumer preferences
  • Escalate the right issues at the right time via an appropriate method. Understand when to form an ad-hoc cross-team and set tactical meetings to escalate proposals with clear content and direction to SLT
  • Help facilitate and leadinternal process improvements
  • Create detailed project reports for the Product Management team
  • Support the Product Manager with various ongoing projects, as required
  • Other duties, as assigned
RequirementsFormal Education or Equivalent
  • Bachelor’s Degree (BA) in STEM or any other related field
Years of Experience
  • Minimum three (3) years of experience in project management or product development or related field
Specialized skills, knowledge, or certifications unique to this role
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification is considered an asset
  • In-depth knowledge of cannabis and ENDS industry regulations and compliance
  • Experience with product development life cycle in the vape industry
  • Familiarity with manufacturing, extraction processes, and formulations of vape products
  • Understanding of quality standards and testing protocols for vape products
  • Proficiency in project management tools
