Working here is your opportunity to shape an industry that’s vital to us all.Job SummaryAs directed by the Evening or Night Shift Manager, this position is responsible for accurately picking, packing, loading and shipping products to customers and replenishing inventory stock as established by policies and procedures.Specific Responsibilities

  • Administers and operates the organizations warehouses, including processing, packaging and storage of supplies, materials and equipment |
  • Accounts for all materials and supplies in the stores facilities; audits goods received into warehouse
  • Oversees receipt, storage and shipment of materials, and related reporting in accordance with established procedures
  • Prepares and coordinates schedules for shipping and receiving materials to control the flow of goods and regulate warehouse space
  • Ensures the effectiveness of operating procedures, space utilization, and maintenance and protection of facilities and equipment
Section B – Main Responsibilities
  • Ensure that the company policies and procedures are respected
  • Communicate with supervisors and Regulatory Officer any deviations that occur concerning established procedures and opportunities for improvement
  • Ensure that work areas are kept safe, organized and clean
  • Operate power lifting equipment in a safe and responsible manner when required
Position QualificationsSection C – Key Requirements
  • High school diploma or GED is a minimum requirement
  • Ability to lift/move up to 40 pounds independently and greater weights in a team-lift environment
  • Physical requirements: lifting, carrying, bending, stretching, and standing for long periods of time
  • Experience in a distribution centre /warehouse/ manufacturing environment is an asset
  • Must be familiar with, and able to work with, computers and automation
  • Current forklift certification and/or ability to become certified within a 30 day period on low level machinery, reach truck, order picker, or other power industrial equipment
  • Basic math and English reading skills and a high standard for attention to detail and accuracy
  • Proven ability to be a team player and work in a team environment
  • Strong focus on Customer Service and commitment to customer satisfaction
  • Reliable and punctual and willing to work various shifts
