Job descriptionJob DescriptionVirtual Monitoring TechnicianWe are an upcoming and fast growing UL certified Virtual Monitoring Station and we are looking to fill full time Virtual Monitoring Technician positions.Position Summary

  • The agent must observe and respond to Video Verified information being monitored from the client’s security system.
Essential Responsibilities
  • Attend to video/sensor signals transmitted to the Video Management Software (VMS) by applying pre-established procedures.
  • Dispatch audio/access signals to establish emergency/required by client.
  • Document the alarms and solutions (steps taken) for documentation.
  • Dispatch calls to proper emergency contacts (911 clients requested emergency contact).
  • Periodically verify VMS equipment and notify management of any issues, concerns with equipment.
  • Other affiliated duties related to the position or upon immediate request from management.
Qualifications:
  • Flexible to work rotating shifts when necessary (morning, afternoon. Evening, overnight, weekend and/or statutory holiday shifts)
  • A strong work ethic that demonstrates respect, integrity and responsibility.
  • Ability to learn new software/applications.
  • The ability to think quickly and act rationally in stressful situations.
  • Fluent in English, written and spoken. Multilingual would be an asset but not needed.
  • Must have excellent communication skills as well as professional phone manner.
  • Excellent customer service skills required with the ability to resolve conflict and problems. Be able to manage difficult customer situations.
  • Self-motivation and time management skills.
  • Ability to operate individually as well as in a team.
  • Ability to operate security equipment’s/systems, camera recording systems, computers.
  • Must be punctual.
