Our main activities are the design, supply, installation, operation and the life extension of Floating Production, Storage and Offloading (FPSO) vessels. We employ over 4,800 people spread over eight locations, nine operational shore bases and the offshore fleet of vessels worldwide.Through our local affiliate, Guyana Deep Water Operations Inc. (GDO), we are the Operator of the LIZA Destiny & LIZA Unity Floating Production Storage and Offloading Vessels (FPSOs).We are looking for an GP Foreman to work offshore.ROLE PURPOSEThe GP Foreman will exhibit a high standard of supervisory and safety behaviour and will ensurethat all aspects of shipboard deck maintenance, rigging, slinging, storage, housekeeping, andgeneral duties are carried out safely and effectively by his team. Delegated tasks will bemonitored and controlled formally and effectivelyCORE FUNCTION

  • Develop And Maintain Effective Working Relationships
  • Slinging/Rigging
  • Signaling/Communications
  • Contribute to The Health and Safety of the Working Environment
  • Monitor And Maintain Pollution Control Measures
  • Carry Out Emergency Response Role
  • Provide any additional duties as required by the OIM/Unit Spt. and /or HOD to maintain safe and efficient
  • Running of the Unit.
  • Additional Competencies as needed
QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS/ EXPERIENCE
  • STCW Reg. AII/4 mandatory minimum requirements..
  • 5 years experience in ocean-going vessels of which at least 2 should be served as Bosun on VLCCs
  • Experience in crane operations on mobile offshore units desirable.
  • Medically fit to offshore International standards such as ENG1 or equivalent.
