Committed.#OGJSSBM Oshore is seeking to employ Production Technicians, who will be responsible for operating plant process and utility systems effectively and safety, as well as facilitating routine maintenance by isolations and reinstatement.Role Purpose:

  • Ensure that Operations and Maintenance Contractor and local regulatory compliance is met in all aspects of work.
  • Start up, Operate, Monitor and Shut Down Process and Utility systems.
  • Monitor, maintain and optimize process parameters (Level, flow, temperature, pressure etc) within operating requirements.
  • Work to O&M Contractor Management System policies and procedures in particular Isolation Standards, and Permit to Work.
  • Carry out all operations in safe and environmentally sound manner.
  • Facilitate maintenance operations by applying/removing isolations as required.
  • Operation under PTW system, Toolbox Talk and Risk Assessments.
  • Carry out Emergency Response Role.
QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS / EXPERIENCE (FOR TRAINING)
  • Must have obtained at minimum a Technical certification (Technician Certificate) from a recognized institute of technical studies. Candidates who hold a technical / engineering Diploma or technical /engineering degree will also be considered.
  • Minimum of two years relevant experience in the desired discipline being considered.
  • Fluent in English (verbal & Written)
  • Available to work standard offshore working hours (Monday – Sunday 12 hours per day).
  • Must be medically fit, and able to pass the requisite medical examinations, including Drug & Alcohol testing, TB and OGUK.
PERSONAL SKILLS
  • Exemplary awareness of safety issues. Conscientious, flexible, versatile, and determined.
  • Good levels of written and spoken communication. Positive and assertive.
  • High standard of analytical, diagnostic, technical and professional knowledge, on electrical systems, components, and procedures.
  • Use standard Management System ‘Office’ package electronic mail system and diagnostic software and equipment as required.
