We are looking for a Data Specialist who will report to the Manager of Product Definition Business Processes, and who’ll be tasked with helping us define and sustain data of the product development teams. As part of your role, you’ll be significantly contributing to the organizations digital transformation. Want to bring your true self on this adventureYOU’LL HAVE THE OPPORTUNITY TO:Develop data definitions, information models, data standards, rules of governance and data management processes; think Product configurations, Bill of Materials, Process plans, CAD and even more data created during product development.Work closely with process owners to define requirements around data and translate that into technical functions with IT and partners; be the glue for Process-People-ToolCommunicate technical and complex concepts to everyone to enhance understanding and drive decisions; let’s democratize data togetherBe responsible for the design and rollout of a master data architecture that supports business processes in product development and management; leverage your drive, creativity and problem solving skills to get this major transformation a successful oneTHIS ROLE IS A GOOD FIT IF YOU HAVE THE FOLLOWING SKILLS AND QUALITIES:You try to understand how business and data are connected even outside your workYou have a Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems, business administration, statistics, mathematics, computer engineering or another relevant fieldYou love to use your ability in problem solving and analysis skills to tie a technical element (e.g., data models) to the company’s operational elements (e.g., business process mapping) and propose solutionsYou act as a data translator; being able to reconcile what team members from different backgrounds are saying, bridge the gap between business and technicalYou have experience in product development and PLM Tell us about it, that could be your differentiator!Our team is based in Quebec, but we are working with people from around the world, so you will need to master both French and English to exchange with all team members and partners.Do you have other qualifications Tell us what is unique about you that is a great addition to the team.Does this sound like you We look forward to receiving your application.WELCOME TO BRPWe’re a world leader in recreational vehicles and boats, creating innovative ways to move on snow, water, asphalt, dirt and even in the air.
