WHY JOIN THE TEAMThe supervisor role is a critical one at BRP where you will be able to demonstrate your talent for mobilizing and engaging your employees.In addition to everyday challenges, you will be working in a team that promotes collaboration, teamwork and skill development.You will have the latitude to plan, organize, supervise and control operations in order to meet needs, while ensuring optimal management of defined performance indicators.YOUR DELIVERABLESTake ownership of your sector on both a human and operational level.Position yourself as a leader within your team to meet the objectives of the sector.Support and engage your team in continuous improvement.YOUR KEY RESPONSIBILITIESCommunicate and explain the job and expectations to team members on a regular basis in order to achieve the established performance objectives in terms of occupational health and safety, quality, productivity, employee development and cost management, and inform management of any critical issues.Act as a role model and coach by encouraging teamwork, innovation, development, and the independence of the teams working in a safe environment where communication is valued.Encourage good working relationships in partnership with the human resources team and the Labor Relations Committee while also ensuring that policies are applied.Lead and support a team committed to and involved in continuous improvement and the elimination of waste while referring to the relevant stakeholders when necessary.Analyze, identify causes of and provide solutions to health and safety non-compliance and risks while mobilizing the team in the search for innovative and sustainable solutions.YOUR QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLSChartered Accountant qualification or bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering, logistics or any other related discipline;At least 3 years of supervisory experience;Excellent communication skills, a team player and good influencing skills;Ability to analyze and resolve logistics issues in production;Ability to delegate and build a team;Good interpersonal skills and good ability to work with a partnership approach (human resources/LRC/Management);Good organizational skills, good management of priorities and sense of initiative;Ability to influence and mobilize others;Good knowledge of logistics systems;Knowledge of software: Word, Excel and SAP;Availability to work all shifts;Knowledge of lean manufacturing would be an asset.WELCOME TO BRPWe’re a world leader in recreational vehicles and boats, creating innovative ways to move on snow, water, asphalt, dirt and even in the air.
