YOUR MAIN RESPONSIBILITIESValidate engineering drawings’ tolerances and parts’ feasibility in collaboration with the method technician who is responsible for producing the part.Carry out the PFMEA (Process failure mode and effect analysis) on our key parts.Define quality plans for new parts manufactured in house and write inspection plans.Design and purchase the gauges required for the production of new parts manufactured in house.Lead the engineering team to ensure the parts are designed in compliance with our established processes to guarantee their quality and productivity.Assist production in the event of major problems to solve the immediate problem and develop permanent solutions.Analyze current processes and suggest improvements.Conduct capacity analyses on different processes.Stay abreast of future technologies and shape the evolution of inspection methods and equipment.Conduct equipment risk analyses that come under your remit and make the necessary corrections.Manage the delivery of gauges according to the deadlines.YOUR QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLSA technical diploma in metalwork or mechanical engineering.18 months to 3 years relevant experience.Knowledge of quality tools (geometric tolerance, PFMEA, SPC, etc.).Knowledge of sheet metal transformation processes (welding, stamping, etc.) would be an asset.Good knowledge of French and English.WELCOME TO BRPWe’re a world leader in recreational vehicles and boats, creating innovative ways to move on snow, water, asphalt, dirt and even in the air.
