WHY JOIN THE TEAM ​To showcase your sense of innovationTo work in an environment where collaboration is an important valueTo be part of a team that is passionate about new technologies and leading BRPs transition towards the electrification of its products;THIS POSITION MAINLY CONSISTS OF ...Work with various cross-functional teams to develop requirements for new Battery System features, diagnostics, algorithms, etcDevelop system level and sub-system level requirements and specification documents working with the optical, electrical and mechanical design teams.Leading design verification activities Writing proposals and white papers Providing technical support to business development activities, including customer briefings and conference presentations Technical readiness and risk analysis assessments.Close cooperation with Hardware and Mechanical engineering teams for the battery pack development requirements tracking and managementClose cooperation with V&V teams to guarantee the test and validation process occur according specification and on-time.Process the development of functional safety-specific features and functionsCommunicate with engineers to update/modify documentation to maintain accurate representation of deliverablesContribute to overall system architecture.Support of development of series production processes and process standardization across departmentsWork on ad hoc related tasks or projects provided by managementWork with multi-disciplinary teams to ensure the relevant subsystems are designed with appropriate requirements. Work closely with product design, quality, and manufacturing engineers, and the production team to ensure that the system supports all critical objectives for BRP.Assess, design and integrate battery software systems to vehicles and related systems to balance out performance, reliability, cost and weight requirements.YOU WERE BORN FOR THIS JOB IF:You have experience using system level simulation tools, such as MATLAB Experience using requirements management tools, such as DOORS.You are skilled at working in a multidisciplinary environment;You detain a Bachelor or Master’s Degree in engineering or similar field and with at least 8 years of experience:You have experience with Model Based Systems Engineering and SysMLYou have experience with IBM DOORS/ELM or other requirement management toolYou are familiar with Agile development of integrated systems (mechanical, electrical and software)You demonstrate strong interest in driving and designing recreational & performance vehicles;You have strong communication skills, a proactive and solution-oriented way of working and the willingness to familiarize yourself with new technologies & development toolsYou are fluent in English and have good presentation and writing skillsYou have knowledge of automotive standards such as ISO 26262, IATF 16494, AEC-Q100, APQP, PPAP; Knowledge of wireless and wired communication protocols is an advantageYou have the ability to analyze and solve complex problems, creativity and ability to innovate;You are comfortable in an environment where technical solutions are not known, where the path is not traced and with the use of predictive analysis methods.WELCOME TO BRPWe’re a world leader in recreational vehicles and boats, creating innovative ways to move on snow, water, asphalt, dirt and even in the air.
