Job Description

  • Provide leadership, guidance, and support to the team, fostering a collaborative and efficient work environment and assigning compositing tasks.
  • Ensure the composting integrates seamlessly into the production’s overall style and contributes to the atmosphere and narrative.
  • Review and approve artwork before submission and communicate retakes as needed.
  • Address any creative or technical challenges related to compositing and ensure that solutions align with the overall production goals.
  • Ensure deadlines and milestones are met as set by the Line Producer, Series Director, and Production department.
  • Work with other departments to maintain continuity across production.
  • Share knowledge and participate in department meetings, ensuring alignment with overall project goals.
  • Assist in recruiting and hiring team members as needed for the project.
Requirements
  • 1-2 years of compositing experience in a supervisor role within 2D animation
  • A portfolio that demonstrates
  • Extensive experience using Flash for Compositing.
  • Strong ability to troubleshoot and resolve compositing issues
  • Keen eye for visual consistency, clarity, and quality to ensure that composited scenes align with the artistic vision and project standards.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills to promote solutions, share knowledge, and incorporate feedback effectively.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities in both creative and technical aspects of compositing.
BenefitsPay Range: CAD $ 1300 - 1500 $ per week This salary range reflects our current expectations for these roles as of this posting’s date.
