RequirementsA day in the life of a 3D Animator at Bardel involves managing multiple tasks assigned by production. You will communicate closely with your team, attend daily meetings for feedback or approvals, and work towards completing your deadlines.At Bardel, we define success, so you have a clear understanding of your expectations.What Does Success Look Like

  • You Deliver High-Quality Work: You consistently produce high-quality 3D animations that meet or exceed industry standards for realism, fluidity, and technical precision

  • You Work Efficiently and Meet Deadlines: You work efficiently without compromising quality, meet project deadlines, and effectively manage time and resources
  • You Collaborate Effectively and Communicate Clearly: You collaborate with team members, communicate ideas and feedback, and contribute positively to project discussions and problem-solving efforts
  • You Ensure Client Satisfaction: You are responsive to client requests and have an eye for interpreting feedback
At Bardel, we believe in an open and honest environment. Here’s how your application will be evaluated:
  • We are working on a feature animated film, so having experience working at a high-quality level is important. Feature Animation experience will be given priority.
  • Your demo reel needs to demonstrate a high-level of polish, strong character acting (comedy, subtle). Experience with quadrupeds and stylized acting is a bonus.
If you are invited to an interview, we will ask you to share experiences about the following:
  • Your experience with Maya is a must have, but also, your ability to adapt to new tools and working methods
  • In our hybrid studio, we seamlessly blend remote and in-person work, so your ability to communicate and collaborate effectively across teams is essential
  • We are creating the Directors vision, so you’ll need to be able to receive creative direction and feedback
  • We work as a team, so you will be encouraged to share your knowledge and experience with others whenever possible
BenefitsPay Range: CAD $1600 - $2100 per week This salary range provided reflects our current expectations for these roles as of this posting’s date. Your final salary offer will consider various key factors, including your education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, geographical location, as well as the needs and requirements of the business.
