Internal Communication Coordinator Vancouver, BCOnsite- Permanent Full-TimeReference Number: CAN-BC-NO-167-091024SUMMARYDoman Building Materials is an exciting place to work as an Internal Communication Coordinator. We are excited to add to our Human Resources team based in Vancouver. Reporting to the Human Resources Manager, the Internal Communication Coordinator will manage and maintain Doman’s internal training content and e-learning platform. Operating in every province, except P.E.I., this role provides an opportunity to work with Managers and Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) in multiple provinces.As a member of a 14-person Human Resources department, you will be an integral part of the creation, administration, and management of our training content and internal platforms. ABOUT YOUYou are able to build and maintain relationships with Managers and SMEs. You are confident in your writing skills and comfortable with technology and digital platforms. You enjoy working in a collaborative environment and are can swiftly address shifting priorities across multiple projects. EXPECTED CONTRIBUTIONS

  • Collaborate with SMEs throughout the organization from distribution, manufacturing and the corporate office.
  • Create written content such as, SOPs, how to and step by step guides for eLearning and training.
  • Assist with uploading and maintaining training materials on the Learning Management System (LMS), ensuring content is accessible and current.
  • Monitor and respond to LMS support requests, ensuring timely resolution.
  • Manage, maintain, and update content on the company Careers page and related social media sites.
  • Contribute to the re-design of the company Intranet and maintain departmental pages.
  • Assist Human Resources activities for the employee training lifecycle as needed.
  • Assist with projects as assigned.
RequirementsKNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES
  • 2 or more years of experience in communications
  • Experience writing training content (non-technical).
  • Experience supporting or managing an LMS and managing a company intranet is an asset.
  • Strong written communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to maintain a high degree of confidentiality, professionalism, and diplomacy.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while juggling multiple priorities.
  • Strong relationship-building skills, and communication skills.
  • Ability to take ownership of duties and responsibilities.
  • Bilingual (French and English) is an asset.
EDUCATION
  • Post-secondary diploma or degree in Communications, Business Writing or English
BenefitsCOMPENSATION AND BENEFITS
  • The typical hiring range for this position is $65,000 - $80,000 annually. The base pay offered is based on geographical location and may vary depending on the applicant’s job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and internal equity. Similar positions located in other geographical locations may not necessarily receive the same salary range. The compensation information is an estimate and provided to meet with applicable provincial Pay Transparency legislation.
