Job Description

We are growing at an accelerated pace and have aggressive growth targets for 2024 and beyond.Do you want to learn more about technology, and work alongside NASA to help crowdsource tools for Astronauts to use on the International Space Station Do you want first hand experience coordinating an assortment of technical projects that will be used by AstronautsIn this role you will be responsible for project coordination of projects through NASA NOIS2 and other public sector opportunities. After 6 months of onboarding and training as the backup on projects, you will take over as the primary point of contact for NASA projects. You will support the creation of project and contest documentation, communicate and work with the variety of internal and client stakeholders to ensure successful project outcomes, create action plans and provide reporting updates and trends on project plans, schedules, budgets, and crowd resources. Additionally, you will also be creating outreach content (e.g., social media, press releases, forums, emails), managing the release schedule, and communicating to contest participants including through documentation.Must have:

  • Strong communication skills with excellent technical writing skills: you can translate business needs into technical requirements and explain technical concepts to a non-technical audience.
  • Highly organized, analytical and able to work independently: you can juggle between 5+ projects at the same time, you have a tendency to take ownership and you have a sense for prioritizing features, making estimates and creating timelines.
  • Attention to detail and a strong level of customer focus.
  • High level of integrity and sense of urgency to “make things happen”.
Nice to have :
  • Proven work experience as a Project Manager or Project Coordinator
  • Passionate about space exploration
  • Ability to read, analyze, and dissect legal, compliance, and technical RFPs and Task Orders.
