We function as a very cohesive team with plenty of support and cross-training so that everyone grows in their roles. Our primary focuses are to provide professional Human Resources guidance and support to business leaders and employees. The team is led by the Director, Human Resources. WHAT YOU’LL BE DOINGAlmost everything Human Resources related!You will have the opportunity to work in many streams of Human Resources such as leave management, performance management, employee relations, recruiting, intranet management, health benefits, and pensions.You will also have exposure to the practices of working in a publicly traded company operating in every province, which provides a chance to work with employment legislation in multiple provinces.This is a permanent full-time position working in our downtown Vancouver head office location, five days a week.RequirementsABOUT YOU

  • Experienced supporting leave management programs including short- and long-term disability, and workers compensation claims.
  • Knowledgeable about performance management and program administration.
  • Experienced supporting managers at various levels and front-line leaders.
  • Super organized with managing multiple programs at one time.
  • Understanding of all Canadian provincial employment legislation.
  • Effective with tactful communications to influence a variety of audiences and build trust.
  • Demonstrated ability to maintain a high degree of confidentiality, professionalism, and diplomacy.
WHAT YOU BRING
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in a Human Resources Generalist or Business Partner capacity.
  • Post-secondary education in Human Resources is required.
  • CPHR designation is an asset.
BenefitsCOMPENSATION AND BENEFITSThe typical hiring range for this position is $80,000 - $85,000 annually. The base pay offered is based on geographical location and may vary depending on the applicant’s job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and internal equity. Similar positions located in other geographical locations may not necessarily receive the same salary range. The compensation information is an estimate and provided to meet with applicable provincial Pay Transparency legislation.As part of our total rewards offering, permanent employees in this position may be eligible for:
