Job Description

This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of Clio - Cloud-Based Legal Technology. We are currently looking for a Senior Software Developer in Vancouver.Join a collaborative and fast-paced engineering team where you #39;ll contribute to the development of cutting-edge legal technology that empowers professionals and improves access to justice. This hybrid role offers the opportunity to work on the Clio Draft product, building scalable web applications while solving complex technical challenges. You #39;ll collaborate with distributed teams across countries, continuously improve your craft, and make a real impact on users’ workflows and productivity.   • Develop and maintain scalable web applications using Ruby on Rails, contributing to the Clio Draft product.
  • Collaborate with other developers, designers, and product managers in an agile environment to create seamless user experiences.
  • Participate in and lead code reviews, offering constructive feedback and ensuring code quality.
  • Mentor and guide team members, contributing to a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
  • Diagnose and solve technical problems across multiple systems, collaborating with cross-functional teams globally.
  • Engage in technical planning, decision-making, and the implementation of complex features.
  • Work onsite at the Burnaby office at least two days per week (Anchor Days) to foster collaboration.
Requirements
  • Proven experience in software development with a strong focus on Ruby on Rails and building web applications at scale.
  • Demonstrated success mentoring others and working within agile, cross-functional SaaS development teams.
  • Ability to quickly adapt to new technologies and work effectively in a fast-changing, distributed environment.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build high-trust relationships across teams.
  • A portfolio showcasing past technical projects, including key achievements and lessons learned.
  • Experience collaborating across engineering teams in multiple locations is a plus.
