Job Description

Status: Full-time, temporary | Location: Vaudreuil-Dorion, QCReport To: Production Planning Manager | Service: Warehouse ProductionAs part of the production team, your primary responsibility will be to assist the CNC operators and allow them to run the machines with minimum interruptions. You will be responsible to the labeling of produced wheels as well as ensuring correct and smooth flow of goods in and out of the production area. If you like staying busy and physically active, paying attention to safety and cleanliness in the workplace, and delivering quality work within given deadlines, we want to hear from you.ResponsibilitiesCNC Machine Operations | 100%Check the dimensions of parts machined using micrometers, calipers and other precision measuring instruments.Perform routine maintenance on machinery and equipment.Load and position proper material on to CNC.Monitor material to ensure quality standards are met.Properly label and organize parts to ensure production flow.Assist other operations departments when in the slow season and workload is low.Communicate with management and coworkers to achieve goals.Maintain and clean machinery and workspace.Follow shop safety standards at all times.Behaviours Related to the FunctionGood attention to detail, organization, and time management skills.Good work ethic and "get the job done" attitude to meet deadlines.High energy, self-motivated, quick study with flexible nature.Demonstrates excellent interpersonal communication ability, based on respect, diplomacy and discernment.Demonstrates a positive attitude even during difficult situations and is able to remain calm.Able to work over-time during busy season when workload is high.Academic Aspects and ExperienceProficiency using calipers, micrometers and measuring instruments to examine parts adequately.Able to repeatedly lift 60 pounds and stand for long periods of time.Bilingual would be an asset.Knowledge and basic proficiency in MS Excel.Knowledge of the automotive industry would be an asset.Ability to operate a forklift would be an asset.This position does not require travel
