Job Description

Celebrating 63 years of BusinessWe Bring Food to Your Family’s Table!We are now hiring a full-time Dock Loader for our Montreal terminal!Shift: Monday to Friday; 1:30am – 10:00amResponsibilities:

  • Responsible for unloading freight manually or mechanically from incoming trucks or trailers. Count and sort product when required. Record any shortages, damages, overages on the pick-up or Linehaul manifest, and report any discrepancy to the shift Foreman or Lead-Hand.
  • Load or assist in loading appropriate freight onto delivery trucks or trailers and shrink wrap and secure pallets when required. Ensure that appropriate bills are with the skid.
  • Pick orders for shipping from “picking slips”.
  • Locate orders according to slips (freezer). Ensure accurate piece count.
  • Stage orders on dock to meet shipping deadlines.
  • Responsible for inventory control (manual).
  • All other duties as required.
Qualifications:
  • Six (6) months of experience equivalent to the job description or in a warehouse environment.
  • Accuracy, attention to detail and a team player.
  • A positive attitude, dependable, on time for work, and respectful with clients or co-workers.
  • Good understanding of safe work practices and ability to safely operate dock equipment.
  • Valid fork-lift license required
  • Ability to lift freight and other objects up to 60 lbs.
  • Bilingual.
  • Ability to work in a cold environment.
