DescriptionNew Roots Herbal is a leading Canadian manufacturer and marketer of high quality natural health products. Founded in 1985, our new head office, state-of-the-art laboratory and manufacturing plant are located in Vaudreuil-Dorion. With over 100 employees, we produce, market and distribute over 335 different natural health products in over 16 countries through 8,600 independent natural product stores. Through our Choose to Care program, weve donated more than $1.5 million to foundations and charities that support the environment and families and children in need. As our business continues to grow, we are now expanding our International E-Commerce team. Reporting to the Head of E-Commerce and International Development, this position will be critical in supporting a variety of international expansion strategies.Tasks & Responsibilities

• Identifying new e-commerce opportunities in line with corporate market developmental strategies

• Effectively manages the advertising budgets to maximize conversion rates

• Reviewing and approving all new brand and product E-Commerce collateral in line with approved marketing plans

• Ensuring existing E-commerce platforms and marketplaces reflect the latest New Roots Herbal brand positioning and targets

• Identifies, in collaboration with international trade partners, any new category or product trends and effectively communicates these to the internal stakeholders and recommends new products to product development team

• Manages the International E-commerce Sales/marketing & Operations meetings

• Maintains the P&Ls by market

• Maintains and communicates various sales performance reports to the Organisation

• Ensures international trade partners and advertising agency are meeting their deliverables

• Works with all internal marketing service teams to provide adequate and timely support so that the International E-commerce team meets its objectives

Skills & Competencies

• Writing benefits-based copy and content related to natural products/dietary supplements

• Developing effective and impactful product landing pages

• Expertise in analyzing social media data to help optimize on-line advertisements and content

• Strong Microsoft applications knowledge and proficiency, especially Excel, Word, and PowerPoint

• Capable of creating, modifying, and optimizing best-in-class E-Commerce stores

• Knowledge and experience working with established E-commerce marketplaces such as Amazon and others from varying continents

• Happy to help attitude

• Strong business and entrepreneurial acumen

• Understanding and proficiency in brand management skill sets

• Relationship management skills.

Education & Experience

• Bachelors degree in marketing or equivalent

• E-commerce management and acumen, at least two years of experience.

• Previous experience in the life sciences industry will be a plus, preferably with natural health products.

• 5 years of experience with a combination of sales, marketing and business development, preferably in the life sciences industry.

Work Schedule

• Work Schedule

• Monday to Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

40 hours/week

• Permanent and full-time position

• Remote = anywhere in Canada only
