Status: Full-time, temporary | Location: Vaudreuil-Dorion, QCReport To: Director of Warehouse Operations | Service: WarehouseReporting to the Director of Warehouse Operations, the tire installer is responsible for the installation and balancing of tires.Will perform other related duties as requested by his immediate superior, all in accordance with internal procedures and rules.ResponsibilitiesInstallation of tires | 95%Assemble and balance the tires and wheels according to company standards.If necessary, remove tires from wheels.Make sure you have all the parts necessary to complete the installation.Work closely in collaboration with the installation Manager to identify the imperfections.Support the shipping and/or receiving department when required.Where necessary, work with quality assurance personnel on the preparation of a car to be measured, meaning, to properly secure the car on the lift, remove the wheels and reset as needed.Health & Safety | 3%Be compliant with the standards and business procedures as well as enforcing the health and safety laws.Ensure that work areas and equipment are kept clean and organized at all times.Other | 2%Participate in the annual inventory.Complete various reports.Behaviours Related to the FunctionExcellent attention to detail, accuracy, reliability, integrity, cooperation and self-control.Demonstrate excellent ability of interpersonal communication, based on respect, diplomacy and discernment.Demonstrate a positive attitude in work, even more so in a difficult situation, by maintaining calm and being stress resistant.Demonstrate a good sense of planning and organization of work.Academic Aspects and ExperienceHigh school diploma or vocational training.Minimum of one year experience in a similar position.Good knowledge of French and English.Having work boots would be essential.Forklift operator credentials would be an asset.Being able to do repetitive tasks.To have a good physical endurance, being able to move regularly the goods that are 60 lbs. and over.
