Job Description

In-Office (non-remote) positionWe are seeking an experienced CFO with a strong background in US and Canadian laws and regulations for our gaming company. The ideal candidate will have prior experience in the gaming or e-commerce industries and be responsible for managing the company #39;s financial operations. The CFO will report directly to the CEO and work closely with the senior management team to develop and implement financial strategies that support the company #39;s growth and profitability.Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the company #39;s financial operations, including accounting, budgeting, forecasting, financial analysis, and reporting.
  • Ensure compliance with US and Canadian laws and regulations, including tax and regulatory requirements.
  • Develop and implement financial strategies that support the company #39;s growth and profitability.
  • Provide financial analysis and guidance to the senior management team to support decision-making.
  • Manage relationships with banks and other financial institutions.
  • Oversee the company #39;s financial planning and budgeting processes.
  • Develop and maintain financial policies and procedures to ensure effective internal controls.
  • Manage the company #39;s cash flow and ensure adequate liquidity to support operations and growth.
  • Identify and mitigate financial risks and implement risk management strategies.
  • Work closely with the CEO and senior management team to develop and implement strategic initiatives.
  • Provide leadership and guidance to the finance team and ensure they effectively manage their responsibilities.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor #39;s degree in finance, accounting, or a related field.
  • CPA or equivalent professional certification.
  • 10+ years of experience in finance and accounting roles, with at least five years of experience in a senior financial management position.
  • Strong knowledge of US and Canadian laws and regulations.
  • Prior experience in the gaming or e-commerce industries is a strong advantage.
  • Strong financial analysis and modelling skills.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
  • Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
