Above all else, we believe in doing the right thing for our people, our communities and our planetAs the Beverage Specialist, you will be responsible for Corporate and Franchise beverage support, beverage analytics and the coordination of various secondary departmental initiatives including Market Research, Competitive Analysis and Product Sourcing.What you will do in this role:Coordinate and deliver training programs aimed at improving product knowledge and restaurant cost controlConduct theoretical costing of all products while keeping with the brand economic modelCollaborate with liquor boards and vendors on supply chain confidenceAdminister work-back schedules for general project managementEnsure all distributors are given the source, pricing, pack size and any additional related information regarding new menu and promotion productsWork with third party vendors and supplies on product sourcingDevelop and maintain detailed reporting and menu analyticsIdentify general market trends on beverages to compliment national programs with direction from the Director, Beverage and Brand Marketing teamsEnsure adherence to all legislative and government guidelines i.e. proper safe food and beverage service, AGCO, OH&S, WHMIS, Human Rights Code, Employment Standards etc.)Provide appropriate detail to Purchasing team for contract negotiationsWhat we are looking for from you:Experience in a beverage alcohol related fieldSolid understanding of beverage alcoholPosses initiative and resourcefulnessExcellent verbal and written communication skills and organizational skillsHigh level of creative thinking and problem solvingEnjoys working with Senior Level ManagementAdaptable with the ability to thrive in fast paced changing environmentProficient in menu analyticsProficient in Google operating systemsAbility to prioritize numerous projects and tasksWhat’s in it for you:You’d be joining a close-knit, innovative team of creative and energetic go-gettersYou’d be a part of Canada’s largest full-service restaurant company that leads the industry in size, speed and innovation20% employee discount dining card valid at participating Recipe brandsA welcoming, fun and safe work environment founded on respectGrowth and development opportunities within the brandCareer advancement opportunities with a company that owns some of Canada’s most iconic brandsRecipe is committed to providing a diverse, equitable and inclusive workplace.
