The Condor Helicopter Maintenance Technician is responsible for all aspects in maintaining the reliability and conformity of the mechanical components of our Condor drone. The right candidate will bring experience from past positions and depth of knowledge to a new position that will allow fundamentals to be implemented and maintained for DDC.Duties & Responsibilities

  • Perform regular inspection and maintenance requirements to ensure flight-readiness
  • Conduct emergency repairs
  • Troubleshoot faulty systems or problems
  • Track and plan maintenance activities
  • Keeping maintenance log books and digital records
  • Ensure completeness and accuracy of all record keeping
  • Prepare technical reports and briefings based on flight results
  • Assist in the development of the Maintenance Programme and Training documentation
  • Perform other duties as assigned
Minimum Qualifications
  • College diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Aviation or related field
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant experience
  • Minimum 2 years experience working with helicopters
  • Experience working with small engines
  • Equivalent experience/combined education will be considered
  • Previous experience as an AME
  • Experience in or knowledge of the UAV industry
  • Experience working with safety critical systems
  • Working with specialised hand and calibration tools

Hours of Work, Work Environment and Potential Travel
  • Full Time
  • 37.5 hours per week and some overtime occasionally
  • Position predominantly located in Caledon, Ontario.
  • Must be able to travel both domestically & internationally (30%)
  • Outdoor work, exposure to cold, heat or other weather elements
  • Work on ladders and use a variety of handheld tools
  • High concentration levels required
  • Valid Class-G driver’s license in good standing and regular access to a personal vehicle required
